Susie is a multi-faceted plus size model, published poet, and community educator. Born in Ghana, and raised in a small Canadian town where she felt out of place — Susie fell in love with Fantasy/Sci-Fi novels and art at a young age. The intricacies of her identity that were once isolating have become her greatest gift. She wholeheartedly believes in the power of owning your beauty and strangeness. Her lived experience led her into a career in mental health counselling, health promotion, and community advocacy. She is passionate about supporting people in identifying their own alchemy and indulges in the joys of gastronomy.
